1 to 3 lbs chicken (or any meat), fully thawed
1 packet of Grill Mates Mesquite Marinade
1/2 cup of water (the package calls for oil, I don’t cook or bake w/ oil unless it’s absolutely necessary)
1 to 2 tbsp sriracha (optional)
Combine marinate & water in a small bowl with a whisk.
Add marinate to meat and coat well.
Cover & refrigerate meat in marinate for at least an hour. Place meat with marinate in a large pot & cook over med-high heat (turning as it cooks) til proper internal temp of 165 degrees is achieved.
Cook time: 20-30 mins.
**Add a 1/4 cup of water before cooking and the marinate will become au jus. It can be used as is or made into gravy.
