1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup mayo (not Miracle Whip)
1/4 cup buttermilk
2 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp minced garlic
1/2 tsp dried parsley
1/2 tsp dried dill
1/2 tsp dried chives
Salt & pepper to taste
**Note this is a taste as you go recipe**
Combine buttermilk, mayo and sour cream in a med bowl with a whisk til smooth. GRADUALLY add small amounts of the remaining ingredients (or more as needed) and mix with whisk til the acquired taste you are looking for is achieved.
Refrigerate in an air tight container til needed. Lasts for up to a week.
**Note: For a spicy ranch, add cayenne pepper to taste.
**Note: Select the fat content of the sour cream, mayo & buttermilk above according to your dietary needs.
