Pepper Steak






1 lb of top sirloin steak, thinly sliced

2 cups sweet peppers, sliced 1/4″ thickness

1 cup chopped onions (optional)

2 tbsp oil

1/4 cup soy sauce

1 to 3 packets of stevia (or other sweetener equivalent of 1 to 2 tbsp of sugar)

1/2 tbsp corn starch

1/2 tsp ground ginger

sriracha to taste


Slice steak into 1 inch strips, place into a large bowl and set aside.

In a small bowl add soy sauce, stevia, corn starch and ginger. Whisk until well combined. Pour marinade over steak. Add sriracha to taste. Mix until steak is fully coated. Allow meat to marinate for 15 to 30 mins.

Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat, add meat. Cook covered and stir as needed until steak is done.

Add sweet peppers and saute for a 2 to 3 mins.


Serves 3 to 4.
